Starting a couple days ago I began to have random error messages when trying to analyze an audio file using a reasoning model in Vertex AI (Gemini 2.5 flash and 2.5 pro). I am able to switch to an older/non-reasoning model and it works just fine. I have been getting the following error messages:
Failed to submit prompt
Error message: "Ov"
Or something similar like "Lv"
Only happens when an audio file is in the prompt at any point in the conversation. Was not happening last week or the weeks prior.
If I change the settings in 2.5 flash to no reasoning then it works but otherwise the reasoning prevents it.
Any ideas?
