Dear Google Cloud Community,
I am a researcher in education who uses Gemini and other large language models for applications in education. As part of this work, I am currently exploring the capabilities of gemini-exp-1206 and gemini-2.0-flash-exp in supporting teachers in providing feedback on student essays.
For this purpose, I wanted to know if there is a possibility to give feedback on these models, in particular because they are experimental?
Kind regards

Hi @Llarian,
Welcome to Google Cloud Community!
Yes, you can provide feedback on both Gemini-exp-1206 and Gemini-2.0-flash-exp. Google encourages users to share their feedback on experimental models to help improve them. You can do this through the Gemini API developer forum.
In addition, according to this documentation:
Note: Support for individual experimental models is not permanent or long-term, and can be turned off without prior warning. Experimental models cannot be used in production code.

Thank you, @MJane , this was extremely helpful. I will take a look at that forum and will post a suitable summary of my observations with the new experimental Gemini models there. I hope this will be helpful for Google's work on these models.
Regarding the note: We did not want to include these models into our products, but rather aimed to get an impression of what future Gemini models could be capable of.
