1.  Typically , How long does it take to keep any pre-build container up to date with newer versions of any such as XGBoost, or TensorFlow, or even Scikit-learn, whenever these frameworks release newer versions?

2. When the Vertex AI will launch the XGboost 2.0 pre-build container on the model registry?

for instance, XGboost released version 2.0 on 12-Sep-2023,    when will Vertex AI provide XGBoost 2.0 pre-build container on the model registry for this version?  such as 1 month later,3 months later, or something like that

At present as  link below, on the model registry, the most up-to-date XGBoost container is 1.7

A quick answer to your question is, it is indefinite, I haven't found any guides or articles that explicitly state timelines of version releases, we can only rely on Vertex AI's release notes and the link the you have provided for the time being.
