We're recently seeing increased latency on the v2 Google Translate API.
We are within the per minute and per day quotas and do not appear to be receiving any Rate Limit errors. The request size is less than 5000 characters.

What else can we check to troubleshoot this issue?
We have also been seeing increased latency and error rates over the last 3 days and aro also well within our quota.
Could we please have an update on this?
Hi @CraigM , I received the following from the Google Cloud support team on this issue:
Upon further checking with our internal team, I could see that there is an outage in the GCP service due to which there is a frequent raise in the latency of the translation API service.
Currently our Product team is working on the fixing of this issue and please expect a next update from our side no later than 08:00 AM PDT(GMT-7).
We apologize for the inconvenience that you are facing due to this issue. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Hopefully that gives some assurance that at least it's a known issue and it's being looked in to. I'm not sure why this wasn't listed on the status page.
