I'm trying to build my application with Gemini because so far I've noticed it's the best model when it comes to vision. However, it's been a massive pain because it keeps giving me the same error "The model is overloaded. Please try again later".
The error rate is ridiculously high like 5% and over the past week it's been closer to 30-40%. First it happened only with Gemini-Pro so I switched to flash, but now I'm also getting this error.
Will this ever get resolved or is the problem perhaps on my end? Otherwise I really need to switch to a more reliable provider, which I prefer not to.
Since I'm on the free plan of customer support I think I'm not able to create a ticket, that's why I'm now doing a support request here.
I also get rate limited yesterday in the AI Studio console which was odd. I'm on the paid plan.
Hopefully it's something on my end, because I'm not seeing that many other people complain about this on X or here, which if it was as severe for them as for me I would've expected way more.
