The link below is the pricing page for Speech-to-Text. While the price for Speech-to-Text V1 API varies depending on whether data logging is enabled or not, there is no description about data logging for Speech-to-Text V2 API.

When I look up the pricing for Speech-to-Text V2 on the pricing calculator, it shows $0.16 per 10 minutes when data logging is disabled, and $0.12 per 10 minutes when data logging is enabled.
Please tell me the correct pricing.

Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes you are correct the price is lower when you opt in for Data logging. When you opt to data logging program it allows Google to improve the quality of Speech-to-Text through using customer data to refine its speech recognition service.
But looking at the API It appears that Data Logging is not yet available for V2:
I would suggest to staying tuned in release notes to get updated to this program when it is available: https://cloud.google.com/release-notes

Thank you very much! It was very helpful! When I enabled the service, I was able to see the same screen as the image. I think it would be easier to understand if the information written on this page is also listed in the documents and pricing page.
