Slow @google-cloud/translate with BatchTranslate

Hi,
We translate our texts using BatchTranslate classes.
Trivial 'Hello Word' text file translation takes 1.5 minute and pdf file translation takes 9 minutes.
Could we reduce time to seconds like in TranslationHub?

I recommend contacting Google Support for latency issues to have them investigate your project: https://cloud.google.com/contact, For the mean time I suggest monitoring the API,

Select Cloud translation API under API & Services then go to metrics tab:

It is possible that it has a high latency when interacting with the API. Monitor if there is an error or latency spikes when running the batch translate command.
