Timeline for Web Search Support for Claude via Vertex AI

Hey everyone,

Currently, Anthropic supports web search capabilities for Claude models when accessed via their own API (see: https://docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/build-with-claude/overview).

Does anyone know if there's a timeline for when this feature will be available through Vertex AI?

Currently, there is no related announcement from either Google Cloud or Anthropic about when this feature will be added to Vertex AI. For the latest updates, consider regularly checking the following sources:
