Verifying websites for data store

I'm attempting to add several domains for which I am already verified in Search Console. Vertex Search and Conversation is asking that I re-verify but when I attempt using the provided link, it only brings me to the property (already verified.) 

At a loss for how to proceed.

on the upper left side of https://search.google.com/search-console there is a dropdown which then you can select "Add property"

Ah, so I can't use the existing verifications - that explains it. Bit of a pain for 5 different sites.

I agree. It is different from what they shown on the videos that it's supposed to be as "easy" as adding a site.
