What is the range and default temperature of gemini-1.5-flash-001?

Hey all,

I'm using the gemini-1.5-flash-001 model to do some inference with vertexai but I can't seem to find what the range or default temperature is for gemini-1.5-flash-001. I did find a VertexAI API Reference documentation that mentions temperature under the generationConfig that has the range and default temperature for the gemini-1.5-pro model but I don't see anything regarding gemini-1.5-flash.

Can anyone point me to the documentation where it specifies the range and default temperature for gemini-1.5-flash-001?

The Gemini model gemini-1.5-flash-001 was released last May 24, 2024 that's why all of the documentations are not yet updated due to its release date. For alternative solution in finding the range and default temperature for this model here are the steps:

  1. Click the Toggle Panel.

  2. Click the question mark icon.

  3. Upon clicking it there will be a window prompt regarding temperature details for Gemini 1.5 Flash version.
