Are Developer App names case-sensitive?

Since the instruction not to use developer.app.id as a key field, I'm wondering whether the Developer App Name is case-sensitive or not. I need to use it in one of the API calls to retrieve credentials.

i.e.

Is Dev-GallagherJi-QA the same developer app as dev-gallagherji-qa or not?
