Can the Apigee microgateway be installed in DMZ on a Linux VM , when using Apigee SaaS solution ?

Is micro gateway ready to be installed in DMZ , as its NodeJS app running on Linux VM.

Is this pattern something recommended or build at your own risk pattern ?

Or a security hardened reverse proxy is needed in DMZ and micro-gateway can be in internal network.
