Do I need to keep a tab of Message Processors to make use of the SpikeArrest Policy?
Solved! Go to Solution.
For the SpikeArrest policy we have introduced <UseEffectiveCount> element. The <UseEffectiveCount> element instructs Edge to automatically distribute your Spike Arrest counts across message processors (MPs) when using auto-scaling groups. This property adjusts the <Rate> based on the number of active MPs. You can read more about it here - https://docs.apigee.com/api-platform/reference/policies/spike-arrest-policy#useeffectivecount
