How to get target url in apigee X debug tool ?

Hello,

We have some proxies using target server configured at environment level, we're trying to debug what Apigee sent to target and we can't find it in the GUI.

In Apigee Edge, it was really simple but Apigee X debug tool is really a mess and the only workaround I found is to download the json debug session and search target.url in it.

Hi @scantineau

Thanks for sharing your inquiry. This is actually a known issue, and its fix is in progress. More details can be found in: 241587399

Until the fix is available, you can use the Classic Console to do the debug

Agree on the usability of the new Debugger, thankfully we're working on new UI.

In the interim you can see the target.host in the AnalyticsPublisher step.

Thanks for your answer.

This can be a workaround while you work on this UI.

By the way, is there an existing thread where you group all of our returns about this UI ?

There are some others annoying things that can be improved. For example we have to scroll anytime up/down and left/right. We also have to click on some anchors to reveal the content of a field (that could be seen on hover event).

So many things to improve 😁

Hi @scantineau thanks for sharing your feedback.

At the moment, there isn't a dedicated option to share these suggestions. However, they can be added when you open a support ticket. In addiition, now that you've shared this in the community we will share this to the related field team. Thanks for helping to make our products better

Hey @kurtkanaskie do you have in mind any other approach to provide feedback?

Hi @scantineau

I'm not aware of an existing thread for this feedback.

Totally agree, lots of room for improvements.

BTW, I'm actively involved with internal reviews of the new UI and Debugger. All I can share is that the Develop and Debug views will generally follow the current left-right flow layout.
