Invoke external url in the Pre flow

Hi Team,

I have a senario: In PreFlow, I need to invoke an external url like "https://mockapi.net" or any other and save the response into a variable and use that response or its related variables in next flow (to use in a js script). How can I do this.  Can this be done with any policies?
