Node.js API no longer working - fails with sun.security.validator.ValidatorException

Getting the following error on a Node proxy that was working some time in the last couple of weeks. In the logs, I see this:

err: Error: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: KeyUsage does not allow key encipherment undefined

Org: apigee-ignite

Proxy: DocsAPI

Sample API call: https://apigee-ignite-prod.apigee.net/docs/

The same deployment is working here.
