Role based access to the apidocs entity in drupal 8 deveoper portal

Hi all, I have been using permissions by terms module to restrict access to a particular apidoc entity based on the user role. (I have created the taxonomy terms for access restriction, created corresponding roles & configured content types with the taxonomy).The module is working fine on all the node entity types like the article, basic page, landing page, etc.But, it is not working properly for the apidocs entity type. Could someone please provide the right solution to achieve this?
