why do we get ‘Assertion failed: __EX, file ../src/cares_wrap.cc, line 935' error while executing the configure command?

We are trying to configure the edge mircrogateway in AIX server. While executing the edgemicro configure command in AIX server, we are getting the exception as ‘Assertion failed: __EX, file ../src/cares_wrap.cc, line 935. we are unable to figure out why it is occurred? Could you please help on this?

Hi @RameshKandasamy Edge microgateway is not certified on AIX platform. You must have Node.js version 4.x LTS or 5.x LTS installed on your system to run Edge Microgateway. IBM’s node.js version which runs on AIX is not officially supported as part of LTS.

another option to consider is Linux on System P, which I believe is supported by node.js (under additional platforms).
