why do we get ‘Assertion failed: __EX, file ../src/cares_wrap.cc, line 935' error while executing the configure command?

We are trying to configure the edge mircrogateway in AIX server. While executing the edgemicro configure command in AIX server, we are getting the exception as ‘Assertion failed: __EX, file ../src/cares_wrap.cc, line 935. we are unable to figure out why it is occurred? Could you please help on this?
