About 4 months ago I started working at a factory producing shading systems in the Exports Department.
I was not familiar with the product, but passionate about Spreadeets And even though my company has a CRM, nobody has been using it, since the real needs are not addressed by this "default" software solution. A customization would have been very expensive.
Combined with my natural wish to understand procedures, identify difficulties, optimize processes and work on solutions, I was just listening and talking with colleagues for about 3 weeks.
I also was not familiar with the product, but passionate about Spreadsheets. And every department uses A TON of them.
THESE ASPECTS LED ME TO APPSHEET
It was also convenient that the company already uses Workspace, so I could start straight away.
Just after 15 minutes spent with a template, I understood how Appsheet works.
So here are we now, hundreds and hundreds of Formulas, Slices, thousands of IF and ISNOTBLANK later, testing out the App written by non-IT-guy, which seems... actually to work.

AND I AM STILL NOT DONE...
Unbelievable how fast it went and how easy it was. OK, I might have cheated with ChatGPT a bit, but only for correcting my formulas.
Conclusion:
If you can master Spreadsheets, you can achieve a lot with Appsheet.
