Additional data getting added to new entries

Hello

I have two tables added from the same sheet in the app i am creating.

Table number 1, has customer information, like name, mobile number, product name etc.

For Table 2, I have a user form that captures additional information, The customer name column is a Ref picked up from Table 1. After adding information in the form & saving, the google sheet entry for the customer name is adding mobile number by default.

I do not need the mobile number to be added. What am i doing wrong. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your response. No, Neither Guest name nor Mobile number columns are having initial value.

Just for further clarity the mobile number exist only in Table 1 and doesn't even have a column in table 2 and yet the entry i see is eg.. John: 98547xxxxx

No, the action adds a row to the same table, not another table.

The Guest name is a Ref, pulled from another table, the ref is put to get some additional information for reference. No other formulas on the Guest name Column.

No i am not using mobile number in either of the tables as an ID or label.
