App data appears in Google Sheets but doesn't "save" so can't use it in MS ACCESS DB
I use Google Sheets as a pass-through for MS ACCESS DB. Data entered the AppSheet shows up in Google Sheets but not in MS ACCESS DB, although it's a linked table. I thought it was mismatched data type but finally figured out that although the data is entered in Google Sheets, it has not been "saved". If I go in and manually save the data, then it shows up in the database. I added a macro to "save" and "close" anytime it is opened and had planned to schedule a desktop action to open it frequently until I realized that DB code necessary to keep DB inputs and Google Sheets inputs in sync will wipe out the Google Sheets "save and close" macro every time data is entered via the DB. (Revised datasheet is exported after MS ACCESS DB manipulation.)
I was so excited to have an app for my friend to use on his phone. But if I can't get this to work, he'll have to stay with paper and pen. He's not a tech guy.
So, is there anyway to "save" the data entered in AppSheet on Google Sheets or Excel?
