App rendering

HI,

 

New to AppSheet, but I'm having a ton of trouble getting consistent rendering.  WHen I'm creating views they seem to render as I'm doing the work.  But if I hit "refresh" or "save" the rendering either completely disappears or is not at all what it looked like during the build process.  Is anyone else having trouble?  It's like the rendering feature works half the time or less.

What do you mean by "rendering"? Are you refering to the Emulator?

Can you show screenshots of a real example?

Not my experience--I don't think. The app emulator does have some quirks, and sometimes doesn't accurately reflect unsaved configuration.

Can you post some screenshots demonstrating the inconsistencies you're seeing?

Thank your for your generous response and time.  Perhaps it's that.  The changes that seem to occur pre-save simply disappear upon saving. So it's hard to know when you're making the right adjustment or not since the two don't line up...what you see in near real-time does not appear to reflect what the actual changes will be after you save.  or even refresh. 

I could paste screenshots, but imagine a card-layout selection triggers a card in real-time...then after saving it reverts to a table view...though the setting (card view) does seem to take....it's just ignored.
