AppSheet: Mobile vs Desktop's display

Hello everyone!

I began my journey with AppSheet and encountered a display issue between the mobile and desktop user interfaces. While it took me some time to achieve the desired result using the default mobile preview, I was surprised to find a missing field named 'Result' when I finally switched to desktop mode.

I synced the app multiple times, but nothing changed. Despite reviewing all the possibilities among the options, I couldn't find the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One thing I have definitely experienced, especially with the new desktop view is that if you have created your own form views it is not always clear which form view it opens by default. Could this be the case for you?

You was right, I fixed the issue by changing the Form Style from Automatic to Default.

Hmm, I wouldn't have expected that to work since that only relates to how the form is visually laid out not which particular form is being used... but great!

I am noticing that your Unique ID is different between the 2 views AND it appears that the Result field is NOT editable.  The value in the Result field suggests that you are automatically setting the Result value based on the selected Unique ID value.

AppSheet will NOT show a non-editable field in the Form View IF it is blank.  So, I suspect in your second view that when you entered the value of "3564" there was no Result value found, was therefore blank and not shown on the Form View.

Hi Willow!
The reason its because It was 2 different requests, having 2 different UIDs was expected.

The result always had a value in it which is the UID but its good to know that non-editable field in the form view isnt showing up if blank. I will keep it in mind. Thanks!
