Apps become unusable when Android phones increase font size

Hi, a test user has increased font sizes on their android phone because of difficulty with their vision. A lot of my actual users have the same settings applied. But the apps look very bad and are even unusable in certain views when users have changed these settings on their phone.

Is there anything I can do about this? For example, table view cuts off the bottom half of all text, icons are crunched together into text, menu options cut off words, etc.

Thanks ๐Ÿ™

if understanding of your requirement is correct, I believe there is little AppSheet can do in this case. Certain device level controls are beyond app level. When a font , font type or date / time  format are changed at device level, they will typically impact all the apps on the device.

Locale support in AppSheet - AppSheet Help

The above description is mainly for locales but I believe that also applies for other device configured options such as fonts, fonts size etc.

One option is to use a bigger font in your apps to start with by using the following setting in UX -> Options and testing with respect to that font size that all views look good. However you may still have little control on device level changes by users.

Although the app editor allows the app creator to adjust the font size, my impression is the developers do not put much if any effort into accommodating different font sizes.
