Array (repeatable) data types in BigQuery Tables

I have a table in AppSheet that is connected to BigQuery. One of the fields in my table is an array of strings. I assumed that this would correspond to the 'enum list' data type in Appsheet but when I add things to the table via appsheet using an enum list, this field in BigQuery is blank. Any ideas?
