Hello,
I am currently using an app that requires a Google account for access. However, I’ve encountered an issue where the account is automatically logged out every 90 days, requiring users to re-enter their email and password to regain access.
Is there a way to maintain persistent authentication so users don’t need to re-enter their credentials every 90 days? Any suggestions or guidance on how to address this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help!
Thank you for your assistance!
I have not experienced a forced logout in any of the apps I use. My Google account is showing I have been persistently logged in since May 2021.
Are these Google Workspace accounts or individual Google accounts? I am not familiar with Workspace admin settings but since they are business focused, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a "force logout" setting there.
All are google workspace accounts, i have been searching for any setting to remove that but with no luck 😞
Thanks for your reply!
Yes the account should throw you out IF you haven't used apps from your account for a while and it's probably exactly this 90 days what you are seeing.
The app is used on a daily basis, but every 90 days on spot it log of and ask for authentication again, (only on Google workspace), on support they tell me to change a setting on Google Cloud Session Control, that that may help, just need to wait a few days to see if that worked
