(Disclosure; I am not the original author of the apps and have been learning appsheet as I make changes and troubleshoot for this company)
We have a vehicle mileage app with an automated manual report function that is used to create a xlsx report of mileage anytime a report is requested.
This function was working just fine, then one day the loading took longer and the automation stopped working, I checked the template and formulas but couldnt see any issues,
Anytime I Test the automation it loads for about 2 minutes and gives the Error "A task was Canceled"
Any suggestions appreciated. Let me know if you need more information
Ive Tried:
- Verifying data via save drop down
- remade the automation deleted the old one
- made the automation send an email with template as attachment instead of creating a file
- turned it off and back on lol.
One way to get a read as to where the issue could be is possibly in the .XLSX file. With exterior items you need to save and verify data. This will be the drop down arrow on the blue save icon. If no errors show. Another trick is to duplicate the automation then delete the first one. Weird things can happen when transfering apps and making the items such as actions or automations again can help. ( I dont have an answer as to why, but know it has helped in my experience)

You need to replace the spreadsheet functions with Appsheet field functions to calculate the correct value you require...
