Bluetooth barcode scanner --> auto open scanner function

Hi all,

So i have made an app with scanning function (like the inspection app). I use my laptop with an external barcode scanner. This works great. The form opens again after saving. My only problem is that i need to tap the line with my mouse before i can use my scanner. Is there a way to avoid this? So after the save, the form opens i can directly scan the next item.

Is the UX > Options > Advance forms automatically set as ON?

Thanks, Aleksi. Yes, your solution works for the scanner field itself. But downside is that forms for all other fields are no longer advanced automatically. So increasing number of clicks for those (also for persons using forms where barcodes not are in use), which thereby overall increase clicks.

Any other alternatives or a potential here for further improvement?
E.g. split up the setting so camera scanner, pop-ups etc is a separate setting?
Or a setting on each individual field?

Disable form auto advance per form Feature Requests

I was just going to make this suggestion. I have several forms that I would really love to be able to automate the flow through the form - turning on the auto-advance. But there are others, where care should be taken when entering data, that I NEED to be able to turn off the auto-advance.
