Bug with Google DB's enumerate type and AppSheet integration

It appears even though you are able to change the order of the enumerated values of a field in AppSheet, it doesn't push it to the DB.  If you perform a regenerate schema it will overwrite your changes in AppSheet.  You must go to the DB to reorder the enumerated column for it to stay.  AppSheet should just look it down so you don't waste your time.

Best to not use AppSheet Database. Use Google Sheets instead.
