Calendar with events on multiple days

Hey everyone,
I’ve got a question about the calendar view.

I have many events that have a duration of multiple days, and these events do not show the start and end time. In the day view they show up on top.

Is this the expected behavior?

I configured them correctly with both start/end date and time.

I also think this really needs addressing for this specific use case.  IMHO clients want to use a calendar view typically want to visualise bookings.  Unfortunately an event spanning 2 or more days gets visualised as 2 full day events.  So it starts at 2300 Day 1 and ends 0100 Day 2 then it looks like it spans 2 full days and not 2 full hours.  Which means you now cannot see when you could book other items around that.

I refer to what @LeventK says here - https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/AppSheet-Q-A/Calendar-Multi-Day/m-p/296644 and agree that this matches Google Calendar behaviour.   But I think their is a case to say that calendar views should have an option to use either a Google Calendar style or to display every hour as filled in between the start and end times.
