Can users launch app in multiple browser tabs and edit on each separately?

I have a client whose users wish to work on multiple things at once.  So they launch several instances of the app in Browser tabs.  In each instance, they will open a Form view for a different data item to add or edit for a period of time and switching back and forth between the tabs filling in data on each data item as they acquire the details.

Occasionally, maybe once a day, an issue will occur where a user will Save a new row in one tab, switch to a second tab and perform a Sync only to encounter an error that there is a duplicate request for the Row Add?  At least this is the second-hand details I have received.

Based on my testing it appears the Browser tabs are treated as separate instances of the running app even with their own set of data...as if each is running on its own device.   However, the duplicate error encountered implies there is some shared components.

My question is this...

Is AppSheet designed, and therefore allows, running of multiple instances of an app in several Browsers?  Should I expect this scenario to behave just like multiple users running the app on different devices?

Anyone have any experience with usage of an app in this manner?

Thanks @Marc_Dillon !  I'm not seeing anything related at this link location.  I am referring to launching the actual web app in a NON new Desktop Mode version - i.e. Desktop Mode preview is turned off.

Oh, sorry. An issue was found just last week (unrelated to desktop preview, just mistakenly attributed to it at first) that was caused by the app being opened in 2 separate places by the same user. My link should take you to a specific reply by Peter with a short description of that. In summary, something is currently going on with such things, so if you've heard of issues under similar circumstances, it could be related, and hopefully cleared up soon.
