Can we attach an action to a Show Column (Display Inline)?

Hello,

I have a detail view from which I would like to users to edit part of the row if in the present case they haven't filled in their charges. 

I have a "Show" "Section_Header" VC displaying "Charges".

Under, I have a "Show" "Text" VC displaying "click on the button to add charges". Here, I would like to Display an inline action that redirects to the charges form. Therefore, I created a a LINKTOROW action that redirects to the charge form. I can attach the action to any column of the detail view, but when I select the "SHOW TEXT" VC, the icon doesn't show up.

Am I missing something or is it not possible to attach an action to a Show column?

I have done a test and if the field is of type Show, it does not allow attaching an action.
If I put that same field as text, it will let me.

I think TEXT is the only column data type that allows for inline actions to be attached.
