Change the value of a column in table2 using the value from a column of the selected row in table1

Is there a simple way to change the value of the column of an existing row in table2 using the value from a column of the selected row in table1. There is a feature "add a new row to another table using values of this row, but I don’t want to add a row to table 2, I want to change the value of a column in an existing row of table 2, based on the value of a column of the selected row in table 1.
