Commercial use of App Sheets

Can some explain how the commercial license works. If I want to use App Sheets for creating a small shopping app.

If I have to pay for every user it could be quite an expensive exercise. If so is there a cheaper alternative similar to app sheets

Thanks

There isn't a concept of a "commercial" license.  Licenses are based on capabilities determining which plan the app requires.  You can review the Pricing page for more details (Enterprise plans are mostly for when you wish to use an SQL database and other team development tools)

Also, be aware that there is a Public app plan under the name of Publisher Pro.  These apps are $50/month flat rate and are good for when you do not need to know ANYTHING about the users.

Which plan your app requires depends on the capabilities needed.  For example, if your Shopping app is only meant for users to LOOK/REVIEW at what products are available, descriptions, availability, pricing, etc and does NOT provide ordering capabilities or any other User centric details/capabilities, then your app can get by with the Publisher Pro plan.

However, if you need the ability to SECURELY identify the logged in user for any reason, you will need a pan that requires per user licensing - which plan will depend on the capabilities.  Every app has an assessment tool that you can review as you are building the app to determine what the plan requirements are for that specific app.

Just so you know, AppSheet is B2B, not B2C
