Conditional Check for Assignment Based on Multiple Criteria in Google Sheets

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a Google Sheets project and need help with a specific conditional formula. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:

• On my main page, I have two sets of columns.
• I need to mark a cell in column X as "assigned" if certain conditions are met.

The conditions are:

1. The name in column O matches the name in column S.
2. The item name and item date in columns A and B must match the item name and item date in another section (columns W and X).
3. The number of times a name appears in column O for a specific item must equal the number of persons in column U.

For example:

• If "John Doe" appears twice in column O for the item "Widget A" on 16-12-2024, and there are 2 persons under "John Doe" in column U, then column X should be marked as "assigned."

Can anyone provide a formula or method to achieve this in Google Sheets?

Please be aware that you have posted your question in an AppSheet Community forum.  While AppSheet apps do use Google Sheets as a datasource, there is seldom a need to implement sheet side formulas.  You will get better results if you re=posted this in a Google Sheets forum.
