Data Displayed for Pin on Map

When selecting a pin on a map view, I was able to get the results below the to display the address (by default), the name of the organization, the person and the city.

However, to do this I had change the Deck View for my "People" Primary View and force the Organization name to the top. But now when I sort the "People" Primary view by organization (a natural way to sort contacts), the organization name repeats over and over again (peeps are from the same organization). This view already groups and sorts by organization.

Any ideas how could configure things so the organization name isn't shown in the Primary View for "People"?

Hi SkrOYC,

Thanks for this recommendation. I think this should do it. I've looked at the support materials for this.

A question, should I create the Ref view based on People Primary View? And then configure the Ref view from there?

Keep in mind the People Primary View is currently not ideal as I explained above. So I'm just not clear if I should be creating the new Ref View to replace People Primary View or to support the data I want pulled into the Map View I created.

Throwing in some blank shots here.

You want a different View for the same source table?

1. You can create a slice of that table with no condition. Name it "People_for_map"

2. Create a ref detail view for "People_for_map" and configure it to your requirement.

3. Create Primary Map view for "People_for_map".

Hopefully when clicking on the Map view lin you"ll be able to see peope_for_map detials. And its totally isolated from yoy Primary People view

Try using a Ref view with the desired Deck config instead of you primary Deck view. You can just make a copy and config it's position to Ref
