Issues with Date format error

i have just transferred an app and the data source to a different owner.

the local in the spread sheet is Ireland  as it was before

the local in the App table settings is english (ireland)

But the dates in report views are showing in MM/DD/YY

this only happened when i transferred the ownership

confused because it was ok before i transferred the ownership

What format are the dates in the spreadsheet itself?

dd/mm/yyyy

to add more confusion it seems to be correct in the app on the phone?
