People have been wondering this since the beginning... and here we are nearly 10 years going. (^_^)

I have personally witnessed hundreds of people:

  • Finding AppSheet and building something for work
  • They get promoted to full-time app stuff at work
  • They quit their job, starting their own business with their previous employer as their first client
  • They take on more clients, hiring more people
  • They're buying property and building houses, putting their kids through college.

Several people/companies that have done it right have already crossed the million dollar revenue threshold.

The transformative and uplifting impacts of working with AppSheet can't be ignored, not when you've seen it manifest in so many individuals;  something this impactful will have a way of sticking around.  Google purchased the produce even though it had very little market share, still doesn't have much TBH, but it's power is undeniable; it's this underlying driving force that will help it stay for years to come.

hi

about seven months ago despite having similar doubts, I embarked on application development projects. Through these initiatives, I achieved the ability to: Monitor production errors, Track the inventory movements of finished and semi-finished goods in terms of quantities and processing times, Analyze the consumption of chemicals per square decimeter in our complex and hard-to-control chemical processes, enabling the application of statistical process control (SPC) methods. take action

Will done.

Thank you.

Good question!

Deep thought that seems to pop up in the community I've noticed, but logically no one knows. There's no way to know where the market for appsheets will go. As long as people keep bringing money in and the shareholders for Google can get bigger checks then this would seem to be a worthwhile investment. It is just economics. They could decide to cut the appsheets department next year because there's not enough revenue (just a hypothetical). We all would be the last to know and that is how it works. Appsheets is just a business and we are just customers.

Their model is subscription based, so it is like Netflix. Get a good amount of people in and charge a low price to start. Increase tier levels over time for more expensive prices that have the newest features. slowly remove free functionality as the buzz has spread far enough that people who download or sign up are more than willing to pay for the perspective idea of the possibilities. Base price is now priced at mid tier price and so on and so forth. Supply - Demand - Greed
