Display a tiny image instead of the actual image size.

I have a form that displays the image of a person (non-editable). It is a virtual colum referring to an image located in another table. It displays the actual image size but I want to display a size like in a card view (tiny image, 50X50). Changing the columntype to thumbnail in both tables has no effect. 

Is there a solution? I also appplied the format option for the specified columns in UX but the image size does not change.

This is likely (yet another) bug in the card view. I suggest contacting Support to report this bug.
