Display only a slice of table as form input

Hi

I have created an inventory management system where I have a master list of items that need to be referred to while creating an inventory log. However, I only want to show a slice of the data that should be shown as an input. How can I achieve this?

Wouldn't setting your slice as the source table of the ref column work?
