Edit the content of a particular cell

As shown in the picture below, I have a sheet where the quantities and pricing adjusts based on the quantity put in cell A4. I want to be able to edit only the value in cell A4, so that the quantities can be adjusted for the rest of the sheet. When I try to adjust the value, it put the new value in the cell below A4 not the actual cell. Any help?

You really should be using standard tabular format for your sheets, which this is not. Move that global variable to an entirely separate sheet/table.
