Entering LongText field with contents is... jarring - and very difficult to work with

This makes it increasingly frustrating while working with a LongText columns as a user of the app.

What am I looking at?

• A long text field with text inside it
• When you click to enter - where you were clicking changed
• Makes working with long text fields very frustrating over time.

In the example I'm trying to insert something at the start of that sentence.... 

• But it keeps jumping me to somewhere else in the text.

Yikes! Yeah, that's a bug.

Its been this way for like... a year I feel like.  Just now getting to a point where I'm starting to really feel it's sting.

I posted this last year and have yet to receive any responses. I also requested feedback on this issue through a feedback form. I had a similar issue, including the text box size.
