Expression page not show up in read-only version

Capture.JPG

Sometimes we need to check/copy/track/etc. the expressions saved in the previous versions of our apps. On my app's (UX) editor (shown in this image), I can only view the expression of "Show if" but not "Display name" (there's no the popup expression page shown up like in the "Show if" case).

Is this only happening to me?

I do a select, copy and paste elsewhere.

How could you do that if there's no popup expression windows for doing so. Or may be you didn't get what I'd questioned.

If I click Show-if's expression bar, its expression window shows up but not in the Display-name case.

Just click on the beginning of the expression at the left-most part and drag your mouse to the right and you'll be able to do the selection.

Or,

Click on the field and do Ctrl+A (Mac: Command+A) and you'll have the complete expression selected, then you can copy and paste elsewhere.

I'm not proposing this as a solution; I'm just sharing with you a workaround I discovered.

That's not practical approach. A complex expression would use indention inside its content. The simple drag-copy does not give this aspect.

However, thanks for sharing.
