Form = Drop-down on a Ref column

When adding a new row In the table PRODUCTS, I choose the model form MODEL table, with a Drop-down on a Ref column. like these:

and works just fine.

BUT..  models have many details and i will like when choose the model, go to another view , to see more details, and  make the selection, then return to the form

is that possible?

this is the MODEL table view  I would like to refer when choosing a model
