- In what part of the world do you reside?
On this planet, in a country in the south of the world (as some see it) called CHILE... but I prefer to think that I live on a small planet in a small unknown universe.
- What do you work on?
CTO in a company that produces fruit, juices and wines.
- What expertise do you have to share or what are you learning?
I was one of the first to set up a bbs in my city when I was at school, at university I designed my first software (I don't know the code) when there was still no internet. Since I didn't know English, I managed to get received at a university in the US, Giargia Tech, and there I discovered (2000) and I was speechless for several days... NetZero existed in those days... as I was a student and helped to wash and cleaning floors I met many people and they invited me to their classes, I didn't understand much but I was able to see incredible things... Back in my country I started working in wines and I was able to grow until I was the CEO of the company... I lived in the aircraft for 9 months a year for almost 10 years. The most important thing for me was to know all the cultures, or almost all... their customs, their ways of interacting, religions, etc... many girlfriends too... haha but after some different points of view regarding how we could grow but our relationship ended... I sought professional help to find what to do after so much time in wine... and it turned out that the tests showed two poles... business and sales or technology, which was my passion or hobby, I finally opted almost 10 years ago I moved to a world that I knew a lot but did not have all the tools or technical knowledge
The expertise that I value the most is following your ideals and instincts...
Today I guide, help, teach many people to integrate into the world of technology... especially those people who have very high positions but who were left behind in the... How is it used? What is it for? Is it safe? When do I recover the investment? and many others... Chile was dominated by a technology company and tied them all up, blocking their progress... today I work to help them get out of the clutches
- What would you like to get out of this Community?
Being part of a community should be an honor and should be considered as the most faithful test base... if you filter and analyze their requirements, needs, ideas, criticism and generate fluent communication in both directions... In the short term you will see growing the fruits of product loyalty. Many of us belong to those who migrated before it was part of the ecosystem, several included, we thought that the rollout would be overwhelming for the competition, we kept projects and investments slowed down because we expected more simplicity, operability, and more accessible or at least clear prices. for different use cases. The community has heard the criticism about the high value of an enterprise license compared to a workspace license... and what could you do if your front lines exceed 300, those kinds of uncomfortable questions are not answered or answered...
What I expect from the entire community, including the owner, is to visualize the near and distant future, the security of continuity and the Objectives that have been set, it is about covering a niche or satisfying a growing need and accessible from any device.
- What do you do for fun?
I have a good time every day and second, like my little son, building legos, his new car/arduino, learning to code, studying google cloud tools, Looker, waiting for the new I/O that will be top rating and looking for my next Chrome Os Num 5... Ahhh and fighting with appsheets hahaha
Bonus track: I recently incorporated a comment in appsheet, about AI (that thing you told me we wouldn't talk about last office hour)
