How do I make a question change color if answered

Hi guys, I'm completely new to AppSheet and having some difficulties trying to figure out some stuff, I have no experience whatsoever with this type of software tbh, so forgive me if this is a dumb question.

I have this app for work with a bunch of questions and 3 buttons with answers, I wanted to make the app signal when one of these buttons are clicked, so we can manage which tasks were completed/answered. My idea was to if they click on one of the 3 buttons the question turns green, so the next person will know this one has already been answered.  Is it possible to make that work ?

We don't have any save options at the end for each form, it just updates the sheet we use to collect this data when they click a button, we wanted to make the app signal when something was already answered. I'm going to share some screenshots so you guys can understand me better.

I wanted to do something like they did, check the video at the 0:43 mark to see what I mean, the article doesn't cover that unfortunately

Does not the same video also show exactly how to set up the format rule?

It does, I already know the basics of it. But the video and all articles only show the basics and the examples are more of โ€œstaticโ€ data.
I wanted to learn how to do something more dynamic.
For instance, I have those 3 options, I wanted to make the button color change once I click on it, if I click on the first option it turns green and stays that way so the next person knows what questions were checked already, but if I click on the second button the first one goes back to normal and instead the second one gets highlighted by the color I chose.

I've looked everywhere and couldnโ€™t find any article or tutorial for it, I think itโ€™s possible, but since Iโ€™m pretty new to the software I canโ€™t figure out what to do.

What you want exactly?

  1. Hightlight the question
  2. Hightlight the answer when it's selected
  3. Hightlight the answers that were selected previously
  4. ...?

At first I wanted to highlight the question(i.e. if I select the first option the question itself turns green) then I saw it was probably possible and make more sense to highlight que answer itself when selected.
The best option for me would be to highlight the answer when selected and keep it that way so the next person will know whatโ€™s already been answered and what the answer was.

Why would you need to show which one was the answer of the previous person?

I mean, I feel like this is not something I can see done but if I'm gonna try at least I need to know why

Itโ€™s an inspection form, divided by area and tag for each equipment, not all equipments with the same tag are inspected by the same person, so we needed to highlight the answer you click on so itโ€™s clear whatโ€™s been done already.
This example below shows what Iโ€™d  like to do, if I click on โ€œconformeโ€ it shows a dot next to it and stays that away unless I click on another option, then the other option would have the dot next to it, but I canโ€™t get it to work, in the way it is right now it makes the dot show regardless if you clicked on it or not, even though I setup to only show the dot if that answer in question was on the column.
From my understanding if the column with the question shows an specific answer I want it should change to the color or highlight I chose, but it doesnโ€™t work.

It already highlighted the selected button, in blue. Is that not enough? Is it the color that you just want to change? That color is based on the primary app color selected in UX=>Brand, although the selected color applies across the entire app.

Format rules don't work inside of Form Views, and that includes quick-edit instances, like the quick edit in Detail View that you have.

hello, in this link there is something that can help, it would be to create a column Select all and when clicking the initial value would be executed if( [selectAll]='ok' , 'According') , it would be for each type
