How to use "Tasks" to Change Data?

Hello everyone,

I’m checking the new “Bots” function (what seems to be replacing the “Workflows”) and in the help article related to “Tasks” it says that it should be possible to “Change Data”:

A task is a simple activity that runs quickly. For example, you can send someone a message (email, SMS), change data, or call an external service.

But, when I attempt to create a new Task, I don’t see any option to change the data, I only see these options (which are the same also shown on the help article):

• Send an email
• Send a notification
• Send an SMS message
• Call a webhook
• Create a new file

So, is it just that the Help Article is miss leading? or am I missing something?

Does someone know if Tasks can be used to change Data (as in, add a new record to a specific table in my app for example).

Or maybe there is another way to achieve this?

In a Bot:

• Add a new step
• Select custom step
• Change from “Run a task” to “Run a data action”
• Select that action
