IT TIcketing System

Hi, I referenced my IT Ticketing System closely to the one that is in the template.
However I need help in assigning tickets to my Technicians.
The idea is:
1) users to create a ticket
2) "Assigned Tech" column will be auto populated from another Table with all the "Technicians Name"
3) Prefer it to be in a round robin manner so everyone gets a fair share of tickets.
4) E.g. if there are a total of 2 technicians. first ticket assign to first technician, second ticket assign to second technician, third ticket to assign to first technician and so on.
5) I would like to have an expression that can do that, so that even in future when I add more technicians, there will be no disruption and the app can continue working.

I'm very new to AppSheet and will appreciate all the help I can get, thanks!

Which one? There are a lot of templates out there.

You want AppSheet to assign a proportion of the tickets to each technician?

Hi Skr0YC,

I only saw this https://www.appsheet.com/templates/A-mobile-app-that-powers-an-IT-ticketing---issue-tracking-system?...

I want AppSheet to assign new tickets to alternate Technicians
1st ticket > Technician A
2nd ticket > Technician B
3rd ticket > Technician A and so on

@vincent_tay hey I want too create a similar application where the user can fill up a form to raise a ticket and the admin assigns the tickets to employees. I am unable to find any resources that can guide me for building this application. Also, I am completely new to Google AppSheets.

Hi @itsmevayun I learned it the hard way but I guess that's how you can understand every single part of your application and know where and how to troubleshoot when there are issues.
As mentioned previously, I took reference from https://www.appsheet.com/templates/A-mobile-app-that-powers-an-IT-ticketing---issue-tracking-system?....
As you have your own criteria for your app, you won't be able to just use that template but it gives a lot of insight.
Test it out first and ask the committee specific questions when you're stuck.
That's what I did previously.
