Hi everyone, I have a client having difficulty with the images automatically rotating and the rotation is not always the best way it can be viewed. Based on some info here, it doesn't appear there's a way for the user to rotate the image on their own. Has any more work been done on this one? Any ideas on how to help the client without the use of 3rd Party Apps? Thanks everyone
No official way rather than telling the user to learn how to take a landscape or portrait picture
Unfortunately, when they take the picture as they prefer, it automatically rotates it. They unfortunately do not have a way to force the picture to appear as needed.
I understand because I have seen this a lot of times.
This is related to the phone's config about rotation as well as the way the camera was opened and if the camera app identified the way the phone was before the picture is taken.
In other words, I can't find another solution than what I mentioned above, but I know this is a problem and I expect some "minor edits before upload" kind of solution in the future. I guess the hability to crop the image is at the same level of priority
Got it thanks for sharing. You're right I don't believe the client wants to edit etc before its used.
